Inspired by surrounding nature, then, it's back into my studio that I try to transcribe the felt that these landscapes bring to me. Then, I create a space where abstraction and figurative become confused, in a game between colors and textures. This slender border between these two painting's expression allows me to create an open space. I mean by this when colors and textures unite and divide and when shapes and spaces are in a kind of balance, it could be as an opened door for each of us. A different view for every spectator, fed by his own feelings and who will give the own dimension to the painting. So begin the discussion between the artwork and the one who's contemplating it.
The walnut stain, ink, wax, ashes, sand, acrylic and oil pigments are the mediums which I use. I like their ability of interaction, mixing, dispersal and disappearance. They also give me all the liberty of interpretation that I need to enter in discussion with the artwork in progress.
